A rare collection of fashion and gifts
What you first see at Urban Oasis is a lot.
Duck the fluttering pink flags at the front door and you come across a massive spread of home accessories, gift possibilities, jewellery, bags, shoes and fashion, fashion, fashion.
(We don’t know how it got like that but we think it’s because some customers like this and others, that and with our penchant for design we hunted and gathered an entire storefull.)
And if you’re too preoccupied trying on shoes or clearing a space to imagine the candleholders on your own table, you could miss the constant stream of big burly guys bringing in boxes.
So while we don’t make the front page of shop fronts, we can famously claim that inside there’s always fresh, new designs – and plenty of them.
‘Treat as we like to be treated’ was our inspiration to arrange everything in colour sections so you can go straight to ‘coral’ or ‘blue’ etc, and find wallets, jewellery, candles, stationery, bowls, clocks and match the colour you have in mind.
Or you can sashay in with worry lines about what to wear and go out flouting your gorgeous body in a designer dress, angst absentia.
But we do have this passion for wrapping gifts, so whatever you choose, we wrap it in amazing metalized tissue with silk ribbons in colours to match or clash. (We may have a flash of creativity when there’s only 5 minutes left of your lunch hour - that’s the only downside, we hear – but usually it’s swift and beautiful.)
So before Christmas mania sets in, come in for your glass of champagne and orange, pick out all your presents and give them to us to wrap. Come back the day before Christmas and we’ll hand over the bag of goodies ready to give away.
